Live Traditional Chinese Paper Cutting Pre-Event Activity

Chinese paper cutting is one of the most treasured forms of traditional Chinese folk art, with a history dating back centuries. Commonly displayed on doors and windows, these intricate designs are known as chuāng huā (窗花), or “window flowers”, and are widely associated with good fortune, happiness, and celebration.

Add a meaningful cultural touch to your event with our Chinese Paper Cutting pre-event activity. Guests can watch as a skilled paper-cutting artist transforms simple sheets of paper into beautiful, symbolic designs using traditional techniques.

Typically crafted using red paper — a colour that represents prosperity and joy — each artwork symbolises luck, happiness, and positive blessings. Guests will receive their finished paper cut as a take-home keepsake, making this activity both interactive and memorable.

This elegant and hands-on activity is ideal for creating a welcoming atmosphere before the main programme begins.

Please Note

Each artist can do approximately 40 pieces per hour.
Please provide a table and chair for our artist.
Artist will arrive 30mins before the engagement time.
Table decorations if required are to be provided by the client.
Pre-made Paper Cutting is charged at $7 per pcs with a MOQ of 30 pcs for standard designs
Custom-made Paper Cutting is charged from $25 per pcs onwards. Do check with us on your design.

Additional $50 surcharge per hour for engagements on Public Holiday Eve / Public Holiday.
Additional $50 surcharge per hour for 7 days before CNY and and 15 days of CNY.
Please check with us for booking rates on 1st, 2nd and 3rd days of CNY, New Year’s Eve / New Year’s Day.
Additional $50 transportation charges apply for bookings in Sentosa, Tuas / Pioneer, Lim Chu Kang / Neo Tiew, Changi Area and Changi Airport.
